BOISE, Idaho (CBS2) — Last week, Simply Cats' own Crash the cat won the fifth annual Cadbury Bunny Tryouts: Rescue Pets Edition after receiving enough votes across the country.
As the winner, Crash will star in the 2023 Cadbury Clucking Bunny Commercial this spring, which airs on Monday.
Crash is an 8-year-old cat rescued by the no-kill, feline adoption center after being hit by a car in 2018. He fractured his jaw, leg and lost an eye. He spent months recovering in the shelter’s care from several surgeries and now romps around Simply Cats greeting guests, staff and volunteers.
